Ling studied really hard, she sometimes taking instant coffee as if it ’s powdered medicine. She would swallow the powder then wash it down with tap water just to keep herself awake and working. After three years, she graduated with a degree of Juris Doctor, she told me, “Never in my life had I studied this hard.”
